Did peter set up Georges trap and if he did why did he want to trap George?
The Mystery of the Haunted Mansion
Once upon a time there was an old house on top of the highest mountain. Nobody has lived there for over a hundred years, the people that used too live there were the Portart family. They moved out because of this weird sound and things kept going missing. But one afternoon there was a little boy named Tim, he was 9 years of age and lived with a family of 4 his Mum, Dad and 3 year old sister, Kate. They were the new family in town. Tom was a boy that got in to a lot of mischief and decided to go for a walk and find some friends while his family unpacked.
Tim went to the local park, but there was nobody there. Then he saw this big hill with a house that had a big, black gate around it and crows flying around it. It looked realy old and was falling to pieces, but Tim didn't care. He just wanted too check it out, so he went up there.
5 minutes later Tim got to a rusted, squeaky, 0tall gate. He was a little scared but he went in, there was all sounds of bugs and screeching all around him. Tim got to the front door and it was wide open with a big spider web on it and a big red back spider. Anyway Tim kept on going, he hadn't had enough yet. He walked in and there was no furniture there was only some broken glass and some planks of really old wood lying around. Tim walked up to a staircase that had holes in it and walked up the stairs. On his way up he saw a big sign on the wall in green saying ''help me.''
1 FAT QUESTION
Why did Tristan and Taliesha want to freak out the T Gang so much if they were all friends?
CI- Wildfire by Chris Ryan
1. "A pair of old women, their skin leathery from to much sun, were struggling with their boat. As one of them started the engine and the other tried to untie the mooring rope, three waiters wearing name badges from the nearby St Michaels restaurant ran up and made for the rail. The woman at the helm screamed in fury and pointed a flare pistol at them, forcing the waiters to retreat to the quay." I assume that the women were really desperate to leave the quay so they pointed the flare pistol at the waiters.
2. "The corridor she had come down was now a mass of flames. Fire and thick black smoke boiled out of the store cupboard. She blinked back stinging tears and saw the insulation in the ceiling tiles was starting to smoulder, like those in the conference center." I assume that it most be extremely hot in the pool area if she had to blink back stinging tears and if the tiles were starting to melt.
3. "Suddenly the checked rug on the table billowed up like a sail. Matt tried to grab the wine glasses but they crashed over, sending the Chardonnay and broken glass all over his bare legs. The chairs set out in a row next to the decking folded up by themselves and keeled over. Sun hats were snatched off the visitors heads and whirled into the air." I assume that a really big and powerful wind most of come through to make everything topple over and blow away in the wind.
Recount of La Carnivale
On Thursday the nineteenth, the year Six Group at Radford College were getting changed into their costumes and preparing all the props for the big dance performance 'La Carnivale'. The whole Year group had been practicing our dances, before term break at the Monday and Tuesday dance lessons, with our dance instructor Robin. She helped us learn how to perform all the four dances, Hip Hop, Latino, Disco and Australian Indigenous. Then she helped each class with their class dance. Ms. Keaton had Latino, Mr. Heinrich had Hip Hop, Mr. Gosentes (sorry if spelt wrong) had Australian Indigenous and Ms. Blanch had Disco.
We had also been doing class inquiries into our classes dance type. Then, we did our individual inquiries with a small group, of four or less people, into a dance style we wanted (eg. Pop, Street, Bollywood). We made a dance in our individual group suiting our dance style and performed that in front of two classes. Then, we chose one group in each class to perform in La Carnivale.
So at 9.00 o'clock all of year six made a long body of a dragon with a dragon head at the front, that we made in our art lessons, then we did a long parade around the junior school and into the hall. In the parade, was also one thing that represented each of the different dance styles. Like two boom shakers, a big, glittery disco shoe, some colorful clapping sticks and a big boom box. Next, when we put the dragon behind the curtain and when everybody was seated the first performance started. It was my class (Ms. Keatons Latino class). We started off with a great musical performance and then a energetic Latino dance, we were wearing decorative masks and were holding maracas while we danced.
Then, there was two of the individual dances the entertaining Jazz dance from Mr. Heinrich's, then Miming from Ms. Blanch's class with some really good imitations. After that, was Mr. Heinrich's class with their awesome musical performance that they sang while doing a dance. After that, they did their cool Hip Hop class dance that had a strong beat. Next, was Mr. Gosesntes' class with their musical performance that had some didgeridoo's in the background. Then, they did their entertaining Australian Indigenous dance with colorful masks and clapping sticks.
Afterwards, was the last two individual groups from Mr. Gosentes' and Ms. Keatons class. A groovy Hip Hop dance from Mr. Gosentes' class and a Jazz dance with a good rhythm from my class (Ms. Keatons class). Then, was the last class group from Ms. Blanch's class, Disco! They did a great musical performance then to finish it off was a lively Disco performance that just made you want to dance. Finally, at the end of La Carnivale, was the big finale were all the performers in year six got onto the stage and we brought people from the crowd to the stage and then danced. Music was going and congo lines formed and everybody was dancing.
After that performance, we performed La Carnivale two more times that day at 12.00 o'clock and 2.00 o'clock. I thought La Carnivale was a great way of finishing off the unit of Dance and I loved performing in front of people and just dancing.
